Helping non-profit and academic organizations navigate the changing world of marketing, media and technology.
The Sheffield Institute was founded by Joseph McCormack, a recognized marketing veteran and founder of Sheffield Marketing Partners, as a strategic initiative to help university students and young professionals navigate the changing landscape of marketing and media. It provides students and recent graduates access to an advisory board and a vibrant professional network. In addition, the Institute selects a limited number of individuals every year as Sheffield Scholars to gain professional experience through internships, apprenticeships and Sheffield Capstone Projects that utilize and develop a variety of skills in the areas of marketing and media.
Sheffield Scholars are unique students or recent college graduates that possess a rare combination of diverse skill sets. First, they are very bright and motivated; they rank at the top of their class and are ambitious. They are university students that are looking actively for challenging internships. What’s more, they are creative thinkers that are typically comfortable with technology and new media. Finally, they are passionate people that care about their education, careers and their world. Scholars are hand selected from a rigorous selection process.
